Certificate Trader Account
The Certificate Trader Account is operated via telephone trading.
You will be quoted an indicative price for the shares you wish to trade. If you wish to proceed, you can typically expect your order to be executed and the price of the shares confirmed over the phone while you wait.
If you are selling shares you need to be in possession of a valid share certificate(s), which you must send to us, together with a signed CREST transfer form (subject to your dealing limit). Please call us on 0800 389 2425 if you wish to check your dealing limit.
Your contract note will confirm the details of the transaction, and show you when settlement is due.
You should be aware that if you do not settle on time after you have bought or sold shares, we may reverse the trade at your expense. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more details.
